Rolfing is a deep, manual bodywork technique that specifically targets the connective tissue (fascia) to realign the body’s structure and enable sustainable freedom of movement. The method is based on the principle of structural integration and aims to bring the body into balance with gravity.

Indications
Rolfing is particularly suitable for:

- Postural damage and incorrect strain
- Recurring pain despite conventional physiotherapy
- Restricted mobility after accidents or operations
- Physical-emotional tension states
- Desire for holistic body awareness and alignment
Treatment process
Treatment begins with a postural analysis and a discussion about symptoms, goals, and previous therapy experiences. Oscar Esmeyer, a Certified Rolfer®, uses targeted manual techniques to work on the body’s fascial structure to sustainably change movement patterns and posture. Each session is individually tailored, with the goal of promoting natural posture and physical balance.
Rolfing is often performed as a series of 10 consecutive sessions, but can also be beneficial as a standalone treatment.
